Switzerland has an interest in ensuring that international migration is regular, secure, and respects human dignity and the rights of migrants. The BMM is a regional programme that implements in Djibouti, Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, South Sudan and Uganda to promote safe, orderly, and regular migration from and within the Horn of Africa. The trainings were conducted in 2022 and 2023 in cooperation with the Arab States Broadcasting union in 3 editions and were well received by participants.
