Facilitating Safe and Skilled Migration on the Central Asia-Kazakhstan Corridor
Labor migration within Central Asia and targeted countries of destination, in particular to Kazakhstan constitutes a lifeline for millions of families in Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. However, informality and poor regulation negatively affect potential development benefits. The program aims to enhance labor mobility governance along the Central Asia - Kazakhstan migration corridor while supporting CA governments to facilitate reintegration and encourage the diversification of countries of destination.
