The GDPA advances dialogue, partnership, and peer learning to strengthen diaspora engagement, social cohesion, and sustainable development. It facilitates the exchange of best practices to empower diasporas in both their countries of origin and residence.

Regional Approach for a Migration Policy (RAMP) for CARICOM

In 2024, IOM supported 15 CARICOM member states and regional bodies in developing a comprehensive regional migration policy framework. This initiative responds to the evolving migration landscape and the need for a coordinated approach to migration governance
